Oluce Lu-Lu

The geometries chosen by Stefano Casciani when designing the Lu-Lu lamp are primitive, light, pure ones, yet the simplification of the shape, in reality, conceals a complex core from a manufacturing and lighting technology point of view. The double mould used for blowing the glass encloses differentiated optics and switches, regulated by universal touch dimmer switches. Therefore, Lu-Lu can also be illuminated entirely or only in part, either lighting only the upper or the lower lamp area.

In its floor lamp version, the blown glass lampshade is supported by a slender chrome-plated metal structure, while in its table version, the height of the structure is reduced to a minimum, keeping the glass slightly suspended over the bearing plane.
